How to perform hajj- part2

Leaving for “Mina”:
Go to “Mina” on foot rather than by bus. It will return you with reward 70 million rewards. Stay in “Mina” at night and offer all prayers and nawafil here until the morning of 9th Zil-Hajj.

As you reach at “Mina” say this “Dua”:
“O’ Allah, this is “Mina” thus bless me with the same reward that you have blessed on your beloved people”.
Second Day (9th of Zil-Hajj):
Offer your Fajar prayers timely in “Mina” and say “Takbeer-e-Tasjreeq” after the prayers. Get free from breakfast early. When you see sunshine coming out of the side of “Jabl-e-Shabir”, the time has come when you move to “Arafat”. Try best to reach there before Zohar prayer. Keep meal for two times with you in “Arafat” and “Muzdalifa”. On your return from “Arafat”, keep saying “Dua” and refrain from other worldly discussions.

Staying in “Arafat”:
“Arafat” is a large field and spread across 20 square kilometers. In the last Hajj of Prophet (P.B.U.H), He was leading a large group of 1,24,000 blessed Sahaba. At that time a verse was revealed to him:
“Today I have completed the religion of Islam and my reward for you, and I have chose religion of Islam for you”
It is an obligation for all to be on “Arafat” even for a single second during the day fall of 9th Zil-Hajj and dawn of 10th Zil-Hajj. If this is missed or skipped for any reason, then the hajj is void and there is no option that could make to that while performing Hajj. As a result, you will have to wait for hajj the next year and no sacrifice acceptable for compensation.
In “Arafat” when you see “Jabl-e-Rehmat”, offer “Dua” because it is the time when all prayers are answered. After your arrival in “Arafat” stay near “Jabl-e-Rehmat” because it is “Sunnah”. However if you have inconvenience then you can surely stay somewhere. Since afternoon, keep yourself busy in offering and praising Allah Almighty.
According to a Hadith in Trimizi, Prophet (P.B.U.H) said:
“The best thing for today which has been recited by me and my messengers is:
There is no God except Almighty Allah, He is one and there is no one who is equal to Him. All praises and superiorities belong to Him, He is the one who makes life and death and He will always remain alive. All kindness is in His hands and He can do whatever He wants”
Staying in “Arafat” starts with ritual bath since it is “Sunnah”. However you can also make ablution simply. By noon, go to mosque “Nimrah” and offer Zohar and Asar jointly along with listening to the Khutba-e-Hajj. Getting the “Field of Arafat” but visiting mosque “Nimrah” is not easy. Leaving from tent, going through a crowd of about 1 million and then returning to the group members is a tough task but care needs to be taken that what a Hajji is restricted in Ihram must not happen, even unconsciously. The blessed day of “Arafat” can be turned into stress but keep a positive attitude. Imam of mosque “Nimrah” offers Zohar and Asar prayers as Qasar, Hanfi should also pray qasar prayers if their stay is less than 15 days in Makkah, otherwise they cannot offer prayer behind such Imam. Remember that you must offer Asar in your tent, on its time.
Pray for yourself, your family and relatives and other Muslims in a very courteous way.
According to a Hadith, Prophet (P.B.U.H) said:
“A Muslim who will perform Standings after day fall of Arafat’s Day and then say 100 times:
Laa ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyi wa yumeetu wa huwa hayyun laa yamoot, bi yadihil khair, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shayin qadeer
Then recite 100 times “Surah Ikhlaas” and 100 times “Durood -e- Ibrahim”. Allah says: O’ my angles! What do I reward this person who offered praises and honors to me, believed in me and send “Durood” to my beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H)”
For moving to “Muzdalifa” reach at bus half hour before sun set. Get in bus immediately at mentioned time. Remember, buses will leave by sun set. If you leave the surrounding of “Arafat” before sunset then sacrifice for atonement is must.

Going to “Muzdalifa”:
Offering Maghrib in “Muzdalifa” is must. As soon as you enter in “Muzdalifa”, say this “Dua”:
“O’ Allah, make my body’s meat, bones, skin, hair and all parts free from fire of Hell, O’ most merciful”.
On reaching, offer Maghrib and Esha together at time of Esha. It is called “Jamma-bin-Assalateen” whether you reach before Maghrib, do not offer Maghrib prayer in any case, otherwise it will be counted as a sin. First offer Maghrib “Fardh”, after that say “Takbeer-e-Tashreeq” and “Labbaik” and then offer “Fardh” prayer of “Esha”. Now, offer remaining “Sunnah” of Maghrib and then offer remaining of Esha. Whether you offer alone or in group, both prayers must be offered together.
For “Rami” which is done in Mina, pick small stones no bigger than a size of a pea grain from here. Pick 70 stones, if you plan to do “Jamarat” it until 13th Zil-Hajj or pick 49 if you plan to make it up to 12th. For Hujaj, a large cannon is air shot as a sign that the times has began to move on to other stages of Hajj.
Staying in “Muzdalifa” at night is a “Sunnah –e- Muaqidah”. Standings in “Muzdalifa” starts from Fajar time to Sunrise. Those who will reach after sunrise will perform sacrifice for atonement.
