While looking at the history of Libya, we will find out that it was kept occupied by different nations. In 642 Hijri, Arabs invaded this country. In 1556, the Usmania Government took control of it. In 1853, Italy occupied it until 1912. After the Second World War, 4 countries (America, England, France and Russia) began to discuss about the future of Libya. England wanted to divide it into two parts by the names of Trepolina and Saranika, and to take control of one part. The other countries were also interested in their own profits, so they didn’t come out with a solution. The issue was then given to the United Nations.
Libya’s Status:
On 21 November 1949, United Nations decided to free the country and it was got free on 24 December 1951. Libya has the pride of being the first African country to be freed. After independence, Libya became a member of Arab union and became a member of United Nations as well afterward. Al Sayyad Mohammad Idrees Mehdi Al Sanwasi was nominated as the first king of the country. The Sanwasi government completed a little time and then the conflicts between the Sanwasi kingdoms members began to start.
